About

The Hash Heritage Foundation (Yayasan Hash Heritage, to give it its official name) was formed in 1998, not long before the Kuala Lumpur Interhash 1998 and not long after the death of Tim Hughes.
With Tim's passing, a considerable amount of hash memorabilia, publications and other documents ran the risk of being lost forever and so it was acquired by the Bangkok Hash House Harriers and later transferred to Bill Panton's residence in Kuala Lumpur. The vast majority of the magazines were subsequently scanned professionally into 'pdf' format - this lengthy process was organised by V. Jegatheesan 'Jega' Velupillay and Liz Tan and paid for by the generosity of the Cardiff Interhash 2004 committee. What remains of Tim Hughes memorabilia is now safely stored in KL, awaiting the day when the most relevant items can be displayed in the new 'Hash House'.
